It sounds like your iPhone 13 Pro Max is having trouble connecting to your carrier's network. Since you've already tried restarting and factory resetting, try some additional steps to resolve this:

1. Check Carrier Settings:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About. If there's a carrier settings update available, you'll see a prompt to update.

2. Verify Cellular Settings:

  • Navigate to Settings ➡️ Cellular ➡️ Cellular Data Options.
  • Ensure that Enable LTE or 5G Auto is selected (depending on your carrier's network capabilities).

3. Inspect SIM Card:

  • Remove your SIM card, clean it gently, and reinsert it. If you're using an eSIM, ensure it's properly activated.

4. Reset Network Settings

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset Network Settings. This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords, so make sure you have them handy.

5. Contact Your Carrier:

  • There might be an issue with your account or a network outage in your area. Your carrier can also check if your SIM card is functioning correctly.

6. Check for Physical Damage

  • Inspect your phone for any signs of damage, especially around the SIM tray. If there's hardware damage, it might need professional repair.

If none of these steps work, it could be a hardware issue. In that case, contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
