I Am looking for diverting or forwarding calls when I

I am looking for diverting or forwarding calls when I am busy or out of reach, I could see this option in the earlier iOS versions or my earlier phone, but I cannot see it now on my iPhone 15 pro Max. My service provider does provide this service to me, because when I change my Sim to an android phone, I can see that I am able to divert calls when I’m out of reach or not answered or busy, but I cannot see this option on my iPhone. On iPhone I can only see the option of call forwarding , and when I turn on call forwarding, all the calls are diverted to the new number, it does not give me the choice of when to divert or forward. when I called the customer care of Vodafone, they were able to set up all these choices of diverting or forwarding calls when busy or not reachable to a different number of my choice for me. Is this something that Apple has stopped providing or what?

would appreciate guidance?

Thank you.

It seems like you're encountering a limitation in the iPhone's native call forwarding settings. Unlike some Android devices, iPhones typically don't provide built-in options for conditional call forwarding (e.g., forwarding calls only when busy, unanswered, or unreachable). Instead, they offer a general call forwarding feature that redirects all calls to a specified number.

However, the good news is that conditional call forwarding is often supported by your carrier, as you've experienced with Vodafone. Here's how you can set it up manually using carrier codes:

1. Forward When Busy: Dial *67*[phone number]# and press the call button.

2. Forward When Unanswered: Dial *61*[phone number]# and press the call button.

3. Forward When Unreachable: Dial *62*[phone number]# and press the call button.

4. Check Status: Dial *#67#, *#61#, or *#62# to check the status of each type of forwarding.

5. Cancel Forwarding: Dial ##67#, ##61#, or ##62# to cancel specific forwarding settings.

Replace `[phone number]` with the number you want to forward calls to. These codes may vary slightly depending on your carrier, so it's a good idea to confirm them with Vodafone.

If you'd prefer not to use these codes, you can always contact Vodafone's customer care team to set up conditional call forwarding for you, as they did before.
