iPad Air 2024 is rebooting itself randomly

My iPad Air 2024 is rebooting itself without me doing anything and then works normal again like nothing happened. It happened a few times already und it does happen very randomly, what leaves me very concerned is that the iPad is very new and only a month old so there shouldn’t be any problems.

it was never used before and is brand new, the battery works also normal like it should be and I also hadn’t any performance issues.

if you have any reasons or tips for that please let me know

Presumably the iPad itself completely reboots/restarts - as opposed to an individual App unexpectedly closing.

While a malfunctioning or unresponsive App might be expected to spontaneously close in limited circumstances, an unexpected restart of the iPad is much more unusual. If this should occur with any regularity, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. The Support Team can conduct remote diagnostics.

You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to perform hands-on testing. Making an appointment for a visit is recommended, as this will (a) reduce waiting time, and (b) ensure that the technician has time set aside for more detailed testing:

Thanks for your help,

I think it isn’t rebooting at all it’s more like a respring. The screen gets black and the apple logo appears and then it boots up and works normal again. This also doesn’t take long it takes only a few seconds so not like a real reboot.

but this happens pretty often like once a week, but it happened also more than that but also less.

But when it happened it was very random.
