I am not sure which of the following steps were used to troubleshoot the issue, however I am listing them here and you can either try them all or try those that you haven’t utilized.
——
1. Check Network Settings:
- Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset Network Settings. This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords and VPN settings but can fix network-related issues.
2. Toggle Airplane Mode:
- Turn on Airplane Mode for a few seconds and then turn it off. This can refresh your network connection.
3. Reinsert SIM Card:
- If you are using an SIM card, then Eject your SIM card, inspect it for damage, and reinsert it securely. If the SIM card is damaged, consider replacing it.
4. Disable Wi-Fi Calling:
- Go to Settings ➡️ Phone ➡️ Wi-Fi Calling and turn it OFF. Sometimes, Wi-Fi Calling can interfere with regular calls.
5. Automatic Network Selection:
- Go to Settings ➡️ Cellular ➡️ Network Selection and enable Automatic.
6. Test in Different Locations:
- Try making calls in different areas to rule out local network issues.
7. Reset All Settings:
- Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset All Settings. This won't delete your data but will reset system settings.
If none of these steps work, it might be worth escalating the issue with your carrier or 👉 Official Apple Support They may need to perform more advanced diagnostics.
