Bluetooth and WiFi problems

Bluetooth is only good for approximately 25 - 30 feet between the devices when there is no barrier in the path. The Wi-Fi distance can vary depending on the Router, Access Point etc.

If you are getting disconnected from Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi by simply moving a little bit, then try:

1. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi Network or a bluetooth device and see whether your movement causes disconnection.
2. If your iPhone gets disconnected no matter which network it is connected to, then you may have a hardware issue. Contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.

That “far from me a bit” is less than entirely descriptive of the environment.

In unimpeded conditions, Bluetooth can get 10 meters. Quote possibly less.

Wi-Fi also drops off with distance and walls, and Wi-Fi interference is common in places.

What symptoms and distances (and walls) are you encountering?

Is there a Mac or PC around to check Wi-Fi? (If not, there is a way to check on an iPhone or iPad, using Shortcuts app and a downloaded shortcut.)
