Wireless CarPlay connects as Wi-Fi, disrupting cellular signal on iPhone 14 Plus

Recently my wireless Carplay has been connecting, but when it connects it displays the WIFI signal icon. Therefor, it is cutting out my cellular signal and I am not able to use gps, load music, or receive notifications. I can turn off my WIFI, and connect my phone via a usb cable, but I have other issues there with audio getting static consistently when driving so I would prefer to use wireless Carplay.

I drive a 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum and I have a iPhone 14 Plus. I had the connection issue with older versions of IOS and updated it to try to fix the issue to no avail.
