Shutdown mac without logging in

I want to shutdown my macbook and this support site says use the power button. My macbook doesn’t have a power button. Putting the date of the questions and answers would be a help. For all I know the question was asked in 1995. Not helpful at all. Wake up apple

My macbook doesn’t have a power button.

All Macs have power buttons.

Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

Dates and times for both questions and answers are posted.
