I ejected some HDs from the macbook pro, formatted a drive, and try to reconnect the external drives. They dont show up. Used Disk Utility and the only thing showing is a message that says "loading disks" how can I fix this issue?

First check with other hard drives is showing on your MacBook or not ,
if not then Erase the Disk and Reinstall the OS .

Format them Accordingly. For macOS 14.4, you'll need to use APFS format. So, try formatting this once more, using a different Mac.
