How to remove old iCloud account and activate iPhone?

Hello all I purchased 4 iphones from a Police recovery website online Auction.

This phones are sold on line by Wilsons auctions on behalf of the state .

I have paid in full for them we have an invoice marked paid in full so ownership the tittle is clean and passed.

We have provided the imei ,photo id, proof of address and the invoice marked paid in full plus proof of payment yet Apple will not give an activation code for the phones or remove the old icloud account from the phones .

If all the above documents does not prove ownership I don't know what does.

Apple run there own laws did you notice there is never an email address for them any where they wont supply any correspondence address and just keep saying no and wont discuss .

SO WHEN APPLE SELLS A PHONE DO THEY STILL OWN IT .THEY WONT ALLOW THIRD PARTIES SELL .I HAVE CLEAN AND FAIR TITTLE THEY SHOULD UNLOCK THESE PHONES CAN ANYONE ADVICE HOW TO GET A FAIR RESPONCE

THE FOUR PHONES ARE LIKE NEW AND MODELS ARE 12 PRO, 12 PRO MAX, 13 PRO MAX AND A 15 PRO MAX

It doesn't really matter who you bought them from. As muguy suggests, if they are activation locked, you threw your money away. Apple will NOT unlock them for you as you are not the original buyer and you don't have what they require, which is the ORIGINAL Purchase Receipt, from when it was originally bought, which shows the iPhone Serial number on the receipt. Without that, Apple won't do anything for you. And we can't help you either. They can make nice paperweights, coasters, trivets, etc. What they can't do is be used as a cell phone.

Activation-Locked phones from a police recovery site?

Just guessing … the police took possession of these phones from suspects who very likely STOLE the phones or RECEIVED STOLEN PHONES from others. The police may not have been able to locate the true owners, but the Activation Locks suggest that there are true owners.

If the police recovery site wants to give your money back, that is between you and them. Have you asked them?

Apple never offered a warranty on second-hand phones that the police could not reunite with their true owners. Nor did Apple promise to remove anti-theft locks (Activation Locks) on such phones. Buy something; anything; from a "recovery" site, and it is caveat emptor.
