Is it worth repairing an old iPhone SE?

My iPhone is an SE second generation, i’ve had it a couple months because i had to replace my broken iPhone 8. My SE is old, i did not get it new. Recently i have been having lots of issues with it; i rarely ever get service, internet and general use of my phone is painfully slow, it takes a long time to open apps most the time and sometimes my phone will freeze and i have to completely turn off my phone, and i cannot use the internet while connected to wifi of any kind. This is not just at home, when i am at school or anywhere i cannot use the internet while connected to wi-fi. I can sometimes use Google but only when i’m not connected to wifi. As far as damage goes, there is little damage to my phone. I have some cracks surrounding my home button, but it isn’t on the button and the button still works. Also my battery is drained completely from 8:00 AM till around 3:30 PM, I rarely use my phone throughout the day and it is fully charged every morning.

Would it be best to just get a newer phone or should i get repairs? is there anything i can do?

What does it say in Settings about your Battery Health? Once that drops below 80% it is time for the battery to be replaced (and the phone will probably display a message in Settings to that effect).
