Unable to complete touch ID setup

I suddenly got a notification on my Ipad (10th gen) after ios update 18.3.2 that the touch ID on this ipad wont work.

After those prompt comes out, the add a fingerprint options has been greyed out and I cant seem to use the touch ID anymore
