Why does my new iPad Air have resistance when scrolling left or right?

i just purchased new iPad air m3 and notices resistance when moving left or right. This resistance wasn’t in my previous iPad Pro. Can anyone help? Thanks

The screen coatings may differ between your new iPad Air M3 and prior iPad Pro - and consequently may "feel" different in some circumstances.


If you have any concerns, you might consider visiting an Apple retailer and compare your new iPad with other display models of the same specification. If you note marked differences, you would be well advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to offer assistance:
