If you mean you want to sort contacts in the iPhone Contacts app by recently added, that's not an option.
The only options in Settings>Apps>Contacts>Sort Order are "First, Last" and "Last, First".
I suppose if you put the date you add the contact in the format 20250327 at the beginning of the primary sort field, you could get it to sort of work.
