My desktop and ipad has calendar app on home screen and icloud home page but my iphone only has the app on home screen. Been three days at this, about to give up as its not a problem, just annoying me as to why.

Hi Bob,
This is normal: not all applications have an iCloud equivalent, depending on the device used.
On my iPhone, the Calendar and Contacts apps are missing on iCloud.com, while they are present on my iPad and Mac. Furthermore, I also use the Numbers and Pages applications on all my devices but only the Mac has the iCloud versions.
