iPhone XR losing internet connection via wifi every day recently.

I selected "forget network" and re-inputted the password. No effect.

I reset router - no effect.

Other devices on the same network not experiencing any difficulties.

If I turn off my iPhone fully it works after switching it back on for another day or so.

iPhone XR, iOS 18

Here are a few things to try if you haven't already.

1. Restart Your Devices:

  • iPhone:
  • Restarting your iPhone can resolve temporary glitches that might be causing the Wi-Fi disconnects.
  • Router:
  • Power cycling your router (unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in) can help it regain a stable connection.

2. Check Your Wi-Fi Network:

  • Signal Strength:
  • Ensure you're within a reasonable distance from your router and that there aren't any obstructions causing weak signal.
  • Network Issues:
  • If other devices are experiencing similar problems, there might be an issue with your Wi-Fi network itself.

3. iPhone Network Settings:

  • Reset Network Settings:
  • If restarting your iPhone and router doesn't solve the problem, you can reset your iPhone's network settings. This will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords and other network configurations, but it can help resolve underlying issues.
    • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
