CarPlay tiles/apps only show Apple Maps and Settings on my iPhone 16 Pro Max

CarPlay only works if my iPhone 16 Pro max is plugged into my work truck via a cable and in my car(different make and model) CarPlay works via Bluetooth or a cable. Both vehicles have the most current software available and my iPhone iOS is updated to 18.3.2. For about 8 months now no tiles/apps show up on the touchscreen in either vehicle except Apple Maps and the settings app. My ‘23 truck and my’24 car used to have the same apps-apple music, iHeart radio, telegram, and the iPhone app displaying on the touchscreen all the time and now they don’t.
