How can I add custom Lock Screen text on iPhone?

What I did was:

Create a Word page with the text in a large font that you want and positioned about 2/3rd down the page;

Print the page off on white paper with black ink

Use the iPhone camera to take a picture of the page

Open the existing lockscreen, press the side button and then press on the lockscreen until "customise" appears

Select one of the blank "photo" lock screen alternatives offered (one of five)

Use the available customise menu to add the photo to the new lock screen

Position the text and finish the layout and appearance

Press "Customise" and "Done". Add a widget if preferred.

You should have a new lockscreen showing the desired text and also Time etc

PS Your previous lockscreen is still available as an alternative
