i’m trying to sort out an issue with my airpods but every time i use the support app it says that they aren’t supported for service. i’ve checked the serial number and they’re definitely real, so i don’t understand why it isn’t working.

The serial number alone is not enough to prove that your AirPods are real. Where did you get these? Did you buy them new from the Apple Store or one of Apple's authorized retailers? If not, please see if you can get a refund. They are likely fake.
i thought they might be because the battery’s glitching, i bought them second hand but the interface all shows up as normal. i can’t get a refund if they are fake, but thank you for letting me know
