Will I benefit from upgrading my 5-year-old iPhone 11?
I want to know if I'll benefit from a new iPhone I thought my phone was older then 5 years

It depends.
Your budget, what you value, and what is limiting you with your current iPhone are all personal decisions.
A newer iPhone will have a newer battery, better cameras, and better performance.
Current models also support Apple Intelligence, which may or may not be considered a benefit.
iPhone 11 can run the current iOS version, iOS 18.
Resale value of iPhone 11 declined considerably when iPhone 16 was introduced. Updated standards for WiFi and Bluetooth. Compatibility with new software and features for years to come. There is more.
Compare with cost to maintain current device, budget for new device and sooner rather than later loss of compatibility.
My general guideline is trade in value. I usually buy iPhone Pro or Pro Max depending on personal preference. I try to maintain $1,000 USD trade in value of old iPhone. This allows me to purchase new every 4 to 5 years a top of the line iPhone for $200 to $400 dollars out of pocket. Divide by 4 or 5 years average life of device and I can upgrade cost effectively within my budget.
Do you know of a special feature or features.....that you need.....that a new phone would have.....that you don't have now?
