More and more nowadays we are using different apps to make phone calls. Often, if using an app to make a call, if you are on one of those telephone systems that require you to press a number on the dial (key) pad nothing happens when you press. Anyone else have this issue? Surely you have to be able to press/use the key pad on a call from an app can't you?

I have waited fully until the machine is finished talking but no luck. Is the issue I am using an app - like Skype for example and that keypad(dialpad) and not the Iphone phone app? Would it matter what key pad it is?
This seems to be in relation to the phone app itself though right, does it relate to 3rd party app you can make calls with and their key pads?
