For some reason the editing tools have changed to less user friendly & inflexible. I liked the old editing tools that included manual cropping, shadow adjustment, exposure adjustment etc.
At first after the software update the old editing tools stayed the same as before. Now they have changed to these new tools. How do I get the old editing tools back?

You can still use manual cropping and adjust the Highlights and Shadows and exposure. Did you click the "Options" below "Light" to reveal the missing editing tools?
The only tool that is gone is the retouch tool, a sad loss.

What version did you upgrade from?
There is now way to get other versions of these tools.
I do not know the version I upgraded from
how can I find out my latest version?
If you're on macOS 15 then you're on version 10 of Photos.
