iCloud Contacts NOT Pushing to Google Contacts

After using an iPhone 6s for almost 9 1/2 years, I finally had to retire it. I switched to my backup phone, which is a Motorola G Pure. Like many people, I am struggling with getting Apple and Google to cooperate with each other. I found information about how to get the contacts to synchronize.

When I make a new contact, or edit one, on the Android device, it pushes to Contacts on my iMac. However, any changes I make on the iMac do not push out to Google contacts on the phone.

I have followed all of the directions I've been able to find online to resolve this issue. I'm not trying to import or export. I did that along time ago. Unfortunately, all that stuff on the phone is old now. Things are always changing. I want to be able to keep up with the constant changes on either device, depending upon where I am.

I am using a 2017 iMac, 27 inch screen, running Ventura, 13.7.4.

The phone is Moto G Pure, running Android version 12.

On the iMac, I use the Apple contacts app. On the phone, I use Google contacts. So, no, Google contacts is not set up as the default account on my iMac.

Thank you. I will think about that, but I was trying to I have the two different apps synchronize. Like I said, Google contacts doesn't seem to have any problem with pushing stuff over to the Apple contacts on my iMac. I just can't get it to work the other direction. I will review that link.
