RCS switching back and forth to SMS after 18.1.1 update

I’m using an iPhone 13 ProMax and having a terrible time with messages switching back and forth from SMS to RCS. I belong to a professional group chat that has had to be remade four times because it messes things up. I’m currently running 18.3.2 - and was hoping it would fix things, but it hasn’t.

Has anyone figured this out yet?

My iPhone randomly cycles between RCS messaging and SMS messaging when texting Androids. My RCS messages work, but I can’t send SMS messages. When I try I get this automated response: “Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active”. When the Android user sends me a text message, it causes my phone to shift back to RCS briefly. unable to get rcs on ipad Up until I updated to iOS 18 I was able to send and receive messages from android phones on I pad. Not now. Need to get rcs enabled. Checked on utube. Went to apps then messages. No option to switch from sms to rcs. What do I do?

Sonoma Doesn't get Messages from 2nd Line? Since upgrading to Sonoma, Messages.app (on the Mini) no longer shows the SMS messages sent to/from the 2nd/eSIM on the iPhone. I don't remember doing any special when the 2nd line was added months ago and I can't find a setting that controls which lines are shown in the macOS Messages.
