My MacBook Air keeps showing 'locked out' message before login

Each time I turn on my computer

I received a message that I am locked out. This is before I even attempt to log in. I tried using the command R suggestion from our previous time and all that does is bring up the same message again. Please assist!

Are you perhaps encountering Activation Lock?


Describe what you see on the screen, or (preferably) take a photograph of it and post it using the image insertion / "picture" icon below:
