My blind father in law is complaining Siri only gives him links to read up (he’s blind) on the questions he asks her when in past she’d read the answers to him. Is this new or an internet connection issue? He has spotty WiFi as he lives on the garden level with 4 stories above him. Could that be an issue? He has an iPhone 10 or X

Tell your father on his iPhone to go to Settings > Siri > Siri Responses > Make sure it’s set to Prefer Spoken Responses. I also don’t think this is a Wi-Fi issue because if there wasn’t a strong connection to the iPhone, Siri wouldn’t work at all.

Ok we will try that tomorrow when we see him. Maybe it was changed when an update occurred.

That is also very possible, updates can change things. Do try that and please post back.
