How do I recover missing voice memos after changing Apple ID?

I had voice memo turned on in my icloud sync but my icloud got filled up and i wanted to change my i cloud id so as to back up the recent 2years voice memo and immediately i sign in my other id all my voice memo disappeared. Apple need to fix this voice memo disappearing thing it is very annoying

icloud sync deleted all my voice memos without warning I recently opened my voice memos app, to check my precious voice memos. Something popped up that asked "would you like to sync with icloud?' and i thought well yes i want to save all these extremely precious voice memos and so i clicked 'yes' and then poof all my voice memos disappeared in the blink of an eye. It was devastatingly sad. Now it says theres 0 voice memos. Theres not even a 'recently deleted' folder in the app. I don't have those voice memos backed up anywhere, I thought they were just safe on my iphone. Are they somewhere hidden in my phone storage somewhere I just can't see? When asking about the icloud sync it should at least say 'heads up, this is going to DELETE ALL YOUR VOICE MEMOS IF YOU CLICK YES" just feeling really frustrated and dismayed. please is there anything i can do to get these back?

How to recover old voice memos from iCloud backup on iPhone? Hi, I've been trying for a long time to try and retrieve old voice memos. An update must have happened and a setting changed to delete over 30 days? I have now changed that and have the 'recently deleted folder' but I've lost all my old voice memos (ones where my kids were little and a recording of a babys heart check from hospital) My voice memos are showing as backed up to icloud, but i cannot find them on icloud.com. Where do I find this please? or can I check and old back up of my phone/icloud? I've been trying for over a year on and off. desperate for help now. I thought I needed a laptop to look on itunes, but cant see anything there, so started looking on icloud.com, voice memo button isnt there, even though it shows in my icloud back up. How do i delete icloud voice memos without deleting it from my device? why can’t i sync my voice memos accross devices without having them backed up on icloud? Isn’t the whole point of i cloud that its a separate storage from my phone? my voice memos used to sync with my Macbook pro but now they don’t because the i cloud storage is full. why can’t i sync my voice memos accross devices without having them backed up on icloud? seems like Apple is trying to make us pay for their subscription. if I remember right before a recent iOS update my voice memos syced even though icloud was full. please Apple give us that old feature back. as of now seems the only option is paying for more i cloud storage. syncing information like voice memos across devices should be a free feature. that can easily be done like before without forcing people to buy icloud storage. having my voice memos on my macbook pro too isn’t even an icloud thing. i cloud is supposed to be cloud storage. I shouldn’t need icloud storage to sync data on my device. how else am i supposed to transfer voice memos onto the macbook pro so i can view them in the app? as of now i can save them as a file but that is so inconvenient & it doesn’t save the original date etc.

Troubleshooting Deleted Voice Memos:

A. Try as Instructed Here: Recover deleted voice memo - Apple Community

B. Using "Recently Deleted":

The "Recently Deleted" folder is located at the bottom of the list of your Voice Memos. If it is not there, then it is not a feature of your iOS.

C. Restore your iPhone from a Backup:

Have any backups of this iPhone prior to this occurrence? If so, restore your iPhone from one that has these memos (the most recent backup, ideally). If not, then take this as a learning experience, knowing to always back up your device for recovery purposes. Important: Back up you iPhone prior to performing this restoration, should anything go wrong from here on out.
