How do I fix iPhone 16 location stuck on old address after moving?

“Wrong location on iPhone 16: Hi, Ive just moved house and my phone keeps saying I’m at the old location. I’ve tried resetting the location and privacy settings and it sometimes works for a little bit but then goes back to the wrong location. It’s getting very frustrating now, anyone able to help?“

Troubleshooting Location Services:

A. Location Restrictions:

Where did you move? If it’s to a different country, then you need to change your address. Note that you will lose all of your purchases from iTunes Store and the App Store.

B. Turn Off All VPNs

This is all based on an IP Address. So, turn off any VPNs you have enabled.

C. New iCloud Session:

Sign out of iCloud, and then sign back in.

Getting Location to Show:

Make sure you have changed your Apple Account Primary Mailing Address to what it should be: Change your Apple Account primary email address - Apple Support

1. Open: Settings app
2. Tap: your name (top item)
3. Tap: Payment & Shipping
4. Enter: your Apple Account Password (if prompted)
5. Tap: your Method of Payment
6. Tap: Billing Address
7. Tap: Edit
8. Edit: your info accordingly
9. Tap: Done
10. Close: Settings
