Font Book crashes after updating to macOS 15.4
After updating to macOS 15.4 Font Book quits unexpectedly during startup and fails to load the database. I never had the issue with previous versions of the OS.
This same bug is causing a crash in Pages on launch. I verified all fonts and removed any with warnings or errors, that didn't solve the Pages crash. But deactivating all custom fonts did. This macOS 15.4 bug is very real and affects more than just Font Book!
Edit: Clicked "Me too" on this post but the button doesn't do anything, just gives a spinning animation. Using Safari. So found a bug in Apple's Support Community web code while we were here talking about a macOS 15.4 bug.
