How to turn off rotation lock on a broken iPhone screen?

If the bottom of your iPhone screen is broken, and since the swipe gesture to open the Control Center to turn off Screen-Orientation Lock requires that area of the screen, you would need to have the iPhone screen repaired. But since your iPhone is obsolete, that won’t be an option, but either way you’ll probably be better off buying a new iPhone. Your iPhone is over 10 years old I am already impressed with how far yours has made it.
