How do I get my iPad to stop asking for my work Apple Account password?

Why is my personal iPad (using my personal Apple ID) repeatedly asking for credentials for my work MacBook, even though I've never used my work Apple ID on this device? I've already removed the work MacBook from the trusted devices list, cleared all history/data from the browser on the MacBook, and ensured iCloud Keychain isn't set up on the iPad. Despite these efforts, the issue persists whenever I try to sync iCloud data. Any insights on what might be causing this or how to resolve it?
