Transfer MIDI data from Logic or Garaband Mac to the iPad

I'm trying to help a teacher who creates songs on Logic and wants to transfer them to GarageBand for iPad. I think the fact that GB acts like you go blind when you see MIDI data is pretty off. Everything is converted to audio. That is not acceptable. MIDI data is much smaller and can be edited per note. MIDI export from Logic works, even the import into GB iPad. But there are 2 out of 5 tracks missing, without an explanation. But the five are included in the export, as I realize after importing into GB for Mac. From there it is dead end again regarding MIDI export. Does anyone have an explanation for the missing MIDI tracks or perhaps even a solution to the problem? The teacher and I know how to use DAWs, but I can't ask the students to subscribe to Logic for iPad just to enable professional teaching.

There are not many people here doing what you want to do. I really think the teacher will need to get an iPad and start their songs there to use the "official" Apple sharing.

Share songs with GarageBand for iPad - Apple Support

"In Logic Pro and GarageBand for Mac, you can share a special GarageBand for iPad-compatible version of your project to iCloud. "

Schoolwork might work, too. Whatever that is:

You might also ask on the Logic Pro discussion, there are many more midi experts there.
