How do you revive a dead Magic mouse?

My four-year-old Magic mouse just died… stopped working… won't accept the charge… doesn't show up when you look on bluetooth… can it be saved?

iMac 24″, macOS 15.3

Based on what you posted, most likely, the rechargeable battery in your Magic Mouse has lost it ability to be charged, or even hold one.

Since, it's four years old, I'm assuming that you have the 2nd generation mouse. If so, Apple does replace these batteries and it costs around $29. I suggest that you pay a visit to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support directly selecting the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
