How can existing iPhone 16 users resolve overheating issues?

Is this about the iPhone 15, 16 overheating issue being resolved??

but how do existing 16 users resolve overheating? Is it possible to resolve it through a software update? According to various community contents, many people say that the iPhone 16 model is overheating, so I am also worried! I have only used it for 6 months or a year, and it is such a waste to change it right away.

If I trade in my iPhone 17, can I buy it a little cheaper? Do they give me a refund of some of the regular price of the iPhone 16 Pro when I trade in my iPhone? What does it mean that I can get credit when I trade in my iPhone?

Apple does not allow you to Trade In the most recent lineup of iPhones.

It’s very possible that a software update can resolve any thermal temperature issues provided in bug fixes and performance enhancements so make sure you are on the latest iOS 18.4.

Keep in mind that anything that uses energy must also exert some. As long as you do not receive a Temperature Warning or Charging on Hold message, which would shut down your iPhone and prevent you from using it until it cools down, your iPhone is not overheating.

Currently iPhone 16 models are not eligible for trade in. You will have to wait until the iPhone 17 comes out.

When you trade in an older model of iPhone you can get a gift certificate good towards the purchase of a newer phone. However, the iPhone 16 is currently not eligible for trade in.
