The USB-C cable that comes with the iPhone 16 Pro is a USB 2.0 cable that supports charging up to 60W, not the full 100W that some higher-end MacBook Pro models can accept (especially the 14-inch and 16-inch models with the M1/M2/M3 Pro/Max chips). That 60W ceiling is fine for MacBook Airs or even the 13-inch MacBook Pro, but if you’ve got a 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro, especially under load, it may charge slowly or even not keep up if you're doing something power-intensive like video editing or running VMs.
