What is the best way to delete duplicate photos on my MacBook Air?
I have thousands of photos and videos. starting with photos, what's the best way to delete duplicates? thanks

In Sonoma, the Mac has a Duplicate finder in the Photos section:
In Sequoia, Duplicates is in the Utilities section. When duplicates are found, you are given the opportunity to Merge the two, relying on Photos' decision about which is better and what data should be included.

Photos mixes Exact Duplicates with Similar "Duplicates." Similars generally look the same, but there may be slight differences, or they may be different names or resolutions. So look closely before Merging Duplicates!
