How do I update phone numbers for Wallet Pay verification?

I am trying to reestablish Wallet Pay but it wants to verify through phone numbers I no longer use. I cannot locate anywhere to edit that.

Welcome back! When you attempt to verify a credit or debit card for your Apple Wallet, the bank does the verification. Apple does not participate in the verification process. The first part of the verification process, that Apple participates in, you passed. But your bank is requiring you satisfy a second verification, known as Two Factor Authentication (2FA). Your bank is using the phone number they have on file that is marked as the primary contact number. You’ll need to contact your bank and ask that they update your primary contact phone number. Here’s information in Apple Support about Additional Verification.

Adding additional verification

“A card issuer can decide whether a credit or debit card requires additional verification. Depending on what’s offered by the card issuer, the user may be able to choose between different options for additional verification, such as a text message, email, customer service call or a method in an approved third-party app to complete the verification. For text messages or email, the user selects from contact information the issuer has on file. A code is sent, which must be entered into Apple Wallet, Settings or the Apple Watch

app.
