"How can I temporarily silence my iPhone alarm without turning it off completely?: If i have an alarm set up for say 6am and i gain to wake at 5:50. Is there a way to silence today’s alarm (so that i can get up knowing it will not go off and wake the family) without cancelling it and needing to remember after 6am to reinstate it for tomorrow. This seems an obvious feature but i cannot find it."

Turning Off an Alarm, Temporarily:
You Can't. There is no official way to turn off an alarm temporarily; you must do so manually. To turn off an alarm on your iPhone, open the Clock app, tap the Alarms tab, and then toggle the switch next to the alarm you want to turn off. You can also swipe left on the alarm and tap Delete to remove it completely.
