1. Check Apple’s Built-In Driver Support

Apple often includes printer drivers with macOS.

Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.

Click the “+” to add a printer.

If the printer shows up, macOS will try to automatically install the best driver (AirPrint or from Apple's database).

🔍 2. Visit HP’s Official Driver Page

Go to: https://support.hp.com

Search for your exact printer model: e.g., HP LaserJet 105, HP DeskJet 105, etc.

Select macOS Sequoia (or macOS 15, or macOS Ventura/Sonoma if Sequoia is not yet listed—those drivers often work).

🖨️ 3. Use HP Easy Start

HP offers an installer that detects your OS and installs the appropriate driver:

Download from: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Search for HP Easy Start.

Install and run — it’ll guide you through getting the right software.

💡 4. Check Compatibility via HP’s macOS Printer List

If unsure whether your HP printer is supported:

Visit: HP Printers - macOS and OS X compatibility

macOS Sequoia is still very new (or in beta), so official drivers may not yet be listed — Ventura or Sonoma drivers may still work.

HP printers often support AirPrint, which works without needing a driver. If so, it’ll show up as AirPrint when adding the printer.
