Issues with AppleID log in for ChatGPT Plus
I use my AppleID to log into many of my apps. Within the last few weeks, I have received a couple of error messages when trying to login to ChatGPT Plus with my AppleID. After trying several times, I was able to get in, but all my ChatGPT History has been erased, and it says that I'm no longer on Plus. I'm still being billed for Plus, but it appears that my old account has been overwritten by a new account also associated with my AppleID. When i click to upgrade to Plus, it says that my Plus account is associated with a different email, which is weird because I've only ever used my AppleID to log in. I try to "Restore Purchase" and nothing happens. ChatGPT support says its probably an issue with my AppleID.
I guess I can simply Cancel my subscription, and then start a new one with this "new" accout.
