Will I be able to restore all my items in Wallet after I reset my iPhone?
Hello, I want to completely reset my iPhone to its original settings and erase everything on it. I don't care about photos and any other app data. I only have 4 apps on my iPhone so I don't have anything critical on it. I also have all photos downloaded to my laptop (I don't use iCloud Photos).
I store things like Notes, Reminders, Calendar, and other basic Apple App data in iCloud so I know I will be able to restore them just fine. However, I will need to have my Wallet items restored (credit/debit cards, boarding passes, insurance cards, etc) and I have never stored my Wallet data in iCloud before.
Currently I am abroad (and will be for a few months) so it is critical for me to have my credit cards restored since some banks will not allow you to add credit cards to your phone if you are abroad (crazy but true).
If you look at the attached screenshot of my iCloud settings on my phone, if I enable iCloud for Wallet, will it restore my credit cards after I reset the phone without the need to contact my bank(s)?
Just to clarify, I will NOT do an iCloud backup of my phone. Eg, I will not connect my phone to my laptop with a cable and use the Finder tool to backup my phone. I just want to flip on the switch under iCloud settings for Wallet and store that in iCloud. Will that restore all contents of my Wallet ready to use after I reset my phone?
Thank you!
(I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 15.8.4 - but that doesn't really matter.)
