How to check AppleCare+ coverage status and claims?

I raised a case on 01/03/2025 while my device was still covered under AppleCare+. I reported that both the front and back screens of my phone were coming off. At the time, I didn’t have the funds to proceed with the repair, so I waited until I got paid.

However, I’ve just noticed that my AppleCare+ coverage expired as of yesterday. I was on a monthly rolling plan and assumed it would continue until I chose to cancel it myself.

Could you please confirm the next steps? Since the case was raised while my AppleCare+ was still active, will it still be covered, or will I now have to pay out of pocket?

Thanks in advance

Do you have a case number for the raised case issue? If so, your Apple Care+ should still cover the issue. Have you inquired about continuing Apple Care+ on a month to month basis. This is not available in all countries/regions but is also worth exploring.

Please follow Jim’s excellent advice and contact Apple Support and review you case issue and also continuing your Apple Care protection.
