How do I remove persistent 'Malware blocked' notifications on my MacBook Pro?

This malware blocked notice keeps popping up on my screen. What can I delete to fix it?

I assume you are seeing the PT.updd file being blocked. This is a Popcorn Time file and you should also delete that app. To remove the file you see in your screenshot, first start up is Safe Mode:

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support


Delete that file you see in your LaunchDaemons folder and restart your computer again. The message you saw should be gone.
