Any game controllers for M3 iPad Air? I have had an M4 iMac and M3 iPad Air for several months and would like to try playing a game with a game controller but I am completely baffled how this works. I guess since there are many more games available for the iPad I would like to get a controller for that. As far as I can tell, Apple has to officially support a certain controller AND the people who manufacture the controller have to design it to work with a specific Apple device AND the software people who make the game must design the game to work with Apple AND the specific controller. Obviously all the games on the App Store work with iPadOS but I have searched (including searching the website of the game developer) and have never found any games that say they are compatible with any game controller. As far as I can tell using a game controller with an M3 iPad Air is theoretically possible but realistically will never happen. I found this game controller manufacturer 8BitDo that says "Officially supported by Apple" and then lists their controllers that they say are all compatible with iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, tvOS, and visionOS. Strangely Apple's website says nothing about officially supporting 8BitDo. The only controller Apple's website says it supports is the Sony PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller. Another thing that is confusing is I remember on my G4 iMac I had a game controller and the OS had this mapping software where if in the game you had to press "J" on the keyboard to make the little character jump you could set the preferences so if you hit a certain button on the controller it was the same as hitting "J" on the keyboard. But the iPad has no keyboard and you play the games by just moving your finger around the screen or tapping part of the screen, so even if it had the software how can you map the controls on a controller to moving your finger on a screen? Why doesn't Apple Arcade have an x to exit games I just recently purchased an iPhone 15 Plus running iOS 18.3 currently. I’ve been able to play lots of great video games 🎮 when I’ve got a lot of spare time, but I’ve just got 1 major issue. The issue has to do with video games 🎮 that stream in widescreen. When I need to exit those games I find it harder to exit these games especially because the circular physical button that used to exist doesn’t anymore. I don’t have a problem using other apps without a physical button because most of them don’t open in widescreen unless you’re using some type of video editing program and feel the need to preview a video in widescreen before you decide to export it. Is there any chance of that physical button feature ever coming back? Or are there other third party companies that sell hardware made from my model of iPhone 📲 specifically? I just think that the screen size should be increased where you could have some type of touchscreen that looks somewhat like a hardware physical button so that you can exit video game 🎮 apps and other apps similar to Apple Arcade video game apps. This would also be great to help people to prevent themselves from damaging and scratching their screens and extend the life of their phone batteries🔋as well. I also think that it shouldn’t really matter which model that you choose to buy to have an option such as this.

Stage Manager on iPad with Magic Keyboard : How to bring up recent apps I know my tablet is literally right in front of me and I could just lift my finger and swipe from the left side of the screen to bring the recent apps/stages. But is there a gesture I could use on the Magic Keyboard to do the same?
