CarPlay using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data after iOS 18.4 update

after the latest update, my Apple CarPlay now chooses to use the WiFi connection instead of my mobile data.

because of this, I’m unable to access my navigation apps that requires mobile data.

not just my navigation apps, but all apps that require mobile data.

and there’s no workaround and it’s getting irritating.

and these used to work properly before the software updates.

anyone has a workaround since wireless CarPlay needs both Bluetooth and WiFi to work together?
