Why is the wallpaper blurred on iPhone 11 running iOS 18?

Every time i want an image for my wallpaper with a black background in it apple automatically blurs it, i’ve tested this with (apples) solar system wallpaper and a bunch of my own but every time they become blurry to the point where i can barely even see traces of the image.
