I have an iphone 15 pro max and Apple Pay works fine, however, I bought some nfc tags for home automations and I cannot scan them at all! Just says bring nfc close constantly, I have used the same tags with my wife’s 15 pro and they work?
Please help 😂

Sorry I shouldve mentioned what I’ve tried, so I’ve tried with case, without case, I’ve tried restarting, force restarting I went to the shop just to make sure Apple Pay works and it does so I’m not sure why one phone would read them but not the other?
What iOS version is each iPhone using?
Both on IOS 18.4
