Battery Health is expected to decline on average at about 1% for every 50 Charge Cycles.

Your iPhone 15 has gone through 49 Charge Cycles.....very close to 50.

So, it would be normal for the Battery Health to be at about 99% at this time.

Everything is normal.

When your battery has completed 250 Charge Cycles, the Battery Health will be about 95%.

After 500 Charge Cycles, the battery will be at about 90%

Bob Timmons is correct and your battery is performing as it should. The reality is every time you charge your iPhone, it's health will decline little by little. You are going to lose about 1% for about every 50 charge cycles. But it won't be linear, meaning it can remain steady for a while, then drop a point or more. This is NOT something you can stop, so don't drive yourself crazy watching battery health on your phone.

You're welcome. About your brothers battery: No two batteries are identical. Some come with a mAh, higher than the stated charge a battery may be rated for. That just means his hasn't declined, but it WILL decline as ALL batteries do. And when his declines, it may drop more than 1 point. You also cannot compare how you use your phone to how he uses his phone.

And a final note. When the health of your battery dips to 80% or less, which it absolutely will if you own the phone long enough, it will then be time to pay Apple to replace the battery. Until then, just enjoy your phone.
