How do I enable Screen Time request notifications through Messages on iOS 18.4

We really liked the feature where screen time requests were sent as a notification and an iMessage. Now using iso18.4 and no more group message. It’s nice to see who approved and for how long. How do I get it back?

There is no such change in the iOS 18.4. Read the section iOS 18.4 --> About iOS 18 Updates


This may happen if either you are the child is no more part of the Family Member Group.


If your child requests more screen time, you can approve or decline the request in Settings > Screen Time or in Messages. ... If Messages isn't always allowed, ...
