How to fix random Tri-tone alert sounds, erratic missing text and phone sounds, and other sound issues on iPhone?

I’ve Always limited notification alerts to No sounds, except for texts, phone, & community emergencies.

But very annoying random flurries of tritone alert sounds have hit 2 phones; problem has gone on for many years, per community!? These suddenly start, bleep every random minute, minutes, or hours; can go months not doing it, then it returns. The last few days, it’s started doing it in afternoons, every few seconds, minutes, or waits several minutes—then stops, & restarts next day.

Random missing text or call sounds, also in 2 different phones for years.

Other sounds can randomly quit or start.

Texts & calls randomly get throttled sending to android phones, & very slow/stalled to show up on IPad slaved to phone & vice versa.

No apps seem connected w/these alerts. No systems set to alert on phone.

Haptics software?

Could these be sound software glitches, related to updates never fixed?

SEEMS like chronic problems, based on how long it’s been mentioned on community boards.

SEEMS related to user stalling allowing OS updates; I stall allowing those, as every update brings more glitched functions, which may or not ever get fixed.

Is there no fix yet?

Expressing or conveying auditory experiences effectively through these forums may be challenging. The underlying sound issue on your iPhone cannot be accurately diagnosed from a YouTube link. Factors such as your iPhone's specific sound settings, visual defects, and potential hardware problems cannot be assessed through this method. For more personalized and in-depth assistance, I recommend securing a Genius Bar Reservation and exploring the various support options provided by Apple.

Thank you!

1 & 2 = no.

3 = There are sunrise & sunset alarms set, but these use a chosen alarm tone—not a tritone alert.

4 = Ah-ha! Maybe this? Found a 9am Reminder & shut that off.

Except, the tritone alerts were happening during afternoon for several hours, at random intervals, & happening for a few days this time.

Too early to tell if shutting-off the Reminders alert stopped it; it’ll take time to see if something sets it off again.
