I received an SMS an important one with a OTP to access my certificate, now I mistakenly deleted it when I am looking for trash folder, spam or junk folders I cannot find these folders. Where can I find these folders if they are not showing in the messages app?
In the Messages App, click Edit (top left), and select Show Recently Deleted.

That’s the answer: that feature wasn’t introduced until iOS 16. Unfortunately, there’s not really a way in previous versions to recover deleted messages.
What version of iOS are you using?
